Bi-Annual Sale Brings 50% Off Transit Passe


EMBARK To Offer Discounted Bus and Streetcar Passes December and July

OKLAHOMA CITY — EMBARK bus and OKC streetcar customers can purchase passes for 50% off from Dec. 1 through Dec. 7, during the bi-annual fare sale. Passes purchased through the Token Transit mobile app and at the downtown transit center, located at 420 NW 5th St., are eligible for the discount.

Also included in the sale are Reduced Fare passes and bulk orders placed during the week-long sale. 

OKC Streetcar passengers can also enjoy free rides on the weekends through Jan. 5, as part of the OKC Streetcar’s first anniversary. “With the holiday festivities in downtown Oklahoma City and the cooler weather, we want to make public transportation in OKC even more accessible and convenient,” said Jason Ferbrache, EMBARK director. “We know that people are planning ahead for the coming year also, and we’re happy to offer ways for our customers to save, especially during the holiday season.” The next bi-annual sale will be held the first week of July.   

All universal bus passes allow riders to travel anywhere in the Oklahoma City area using EMBARK buses and the OKC Streetcar. Unlimited and annual passes for the streetcar allow unlimited rides on the streetcar and CIRC, which travels through downtown neighborhoods. 

Single ride fares and ADA paratransit single-trip fares are not eligible for the discounted rate.      

With 23 bus routes and two streetcar loops providing service in Oklahoma City seven days a week, EMBARK can transport visitors and residents to a variety of businesses and districts throughout the metro area.
